Wind Dir+Speed
Calculates the actual wind direction and speed. Inputs are TAS, GroundSpeed, Track and Heading.
Wind Component
Calculates crosswind and headwind or tailwind components for take-off and landing given the Track (runway heading), Wind Direction, and speed. It also displays a minimum RFI (Runway Friction Index) reading required for maintaining aircraft directional control with the calculated crosswind. The displayed RFI reading is ADVISORY ONLY. Consult your aircraft operating handbook for actual figures.
